I get daily emails from newbies asking what credit card they should start with. The very clear answer right now (if you live in California) is this. Or this. Or this. Those are links for the Premier, Plus, and business cards from Southwest. A companion pass has never been this easy. Not even close. It’s a very strong deal for those who can get approved (if you apply for bunches of cards already, you won’t be).
Seriously, I don’t know why a California newbie looking for a credit card would pass on this.
The rest of us are very jealous of you.
