My 2 favorite promos from 2011 were:
- United’s “Months of Miles,” which earned me an incredible 247,000 miles.
- The Capital One Venture card promo, which earned me $1800 in Ritz Carlton gift cards.
This year’s Capital One promo is now available. You have to be a new Capital One Venture cardholder (which eliminates me). And you need to have spent a big amount on a travel credit card last year (only personal cards, not business) to really take advantage of this. If you spent at least $50,000 on a single card, this one’s for you. They’ll give you 2 miles for every dollar you spent on one card (up to a max of 100,000 miles). Click here for more info.
