Probably 90% of the answers I’ve heard to “Where would your your dream vacation be” come from 3 places. It’s either Hawaii, Bora Bora, or the Maldives. Hawaii is a little easier to get to (with cash or points), so Bora Bora/Maldives seem to be the most common dream exotic locations. Richard Branson’s Necker Island is in there too, but these seem to be the 2 biggies.
If you’ve been collecting points and miles for a while, you’re probably in position to plan a Maldives trip. It’s complicated I know, but definitely possible.
