The First Merger Casualty

US Airways and American merged and we knew things would be lost. It always happens, so why would this be any different? Well, one day into it, we’ve already lost something big. The incredible US Airways credit card from Barclays has vanished like a fart in the wind (sorry, that was gross). Getting 40,000 miles after spending $1 with no annual fee was amazing. The fact that you could churn this card over and over made it one of the most special deals around.

What are your options now? The same card is available with an annual fee of $89 here. This is only available in an affiliate link, so some of you might be prefer the 35,000-mile option with no annual fee here. It’s the very first link on the page. No matter which one you pick, it’s a good time to start stockpiling American and US Airways miles.

Hawaii For Less

Some of the most stunning views I’ve ever seen were in Hawaii. I constantly daydream about my next trip there. It’s a lot easier with this great mileage discount from American Airlines here. Of course, if you’re on the west coast, British Airways Avios points are usually the best way to go. As always, the Wandering Aramean calculator is an awesome tool to see how many Avios a flight will cost.

2,000 Free Southwest Airlines Points

I got an email to refer 4 friends to Southwest. I got 500 points for each of them here. Super easy, but it might not work for everyone. Check your Inbox and Spam folder to see if you got the same email.
