Not Enough Credit Cards?

When people email me and say there aren’t enough good credit card offers, I ask them a question…

Are you kidding me??

Even if you apply for a ton of cards like I do, you can only get one “brand” at a time. Meaning, you’re not going to apply for more than 1 Chase, 1 Citibank, 1 American Express, and 1 Bank of America card every 3 months. So, lets take a closer look. Do you have all of the following cards?

And if you do have all these cards, did you also get the business version? My point is, all these cards currently have solid to great offers. If you have a good credit score, I don’t understand why you wouldn’t “churn” one card from each category every 3 or 4 months. The most common reasons are usually lack of information, fear, or laziness. I will continue to post the great new offers every time, but plenty of sources like this one compile a list of everything. Capital One Might Be For You

My 2 favorite promos from 2011 were:

  • United’s “Months of Miles,” which earned me an incredible 247,000 miles.
  • The Capital One Venture card promo, which earned me $1800 in Ritz Carlton gift cards.

This year’s Capital One promo is now available. You have to be a new Capital One Venture cardholder (which eliminates me). And you need to have spent a big amount on a travel credit card last year (only personal cards, not business) to really take advantage of this.
